Alternative Realities - Do our choices really have that much impact?

I think our choices do have a huge impact on our lives. The choices you make determine the path your life will take, no-one can make these choices for you. The choices that we make every day will affect the rest of our lives, as the consequences of our choices are something we have to live with forever. It is impossible to go back in time and change what you do, and no-one can control your life apart from you. We may make lots of mistakes in the choices that we make, we cannot change these mistakes, only learn from them.
