Close Viewing of Sequences

How and what does the way the sequence is filmed tell us about one of the main ideas in the film?
The sequence where Lola is thinking about who can help her to get the 100,000marks that she needs shows the idea of how the choices in life determine/affect our fate. If Lola had chosen someone else to go to for help, the whole sequence of events that followed could have been completely different to what happened when she chose to go to her father for the money. Maybe she could have gone to her friends instead and got the money straight away,

The frenetic pace of the sequence also builds the tension of the scene - her brain is racing as she attempts to beat the clock and save Manni.
